The cheapest quote and the most expensive quote often describe different jobs. Before comparing totals, make sure you are comparing the same work.
Normalize the quotes first
List every line item across all bids side by side. Where one bid is silent, ask whether the work is included or excluded. Silence is usually exclusion.
Ask each provider for the same material grade so the comparison is real.
Look at allowances
